Strategy

IPSWAM is realising its objectives by:

• Establishing and developing a Central Planning Team and two Zonal Planning Teams (based at Khulna and Patuakhali), competent to plan and implement water management projects in line with the principles of the NWPo, BWDB Act 2000 and GPWM.
• Developing and disseminating the specific methods and procedures necessary to make the NWPo and GPWM operational, within the BWDB.
• Developing local water management capabilities and transferring O&M responsibilities to WMOs with support from BWDB.
